Bradford City Sign Kenyan Star Clarke Oduor
Bradford City Football Club has successfully secured the signing of wing-back Clarke Oduor on a three-year contract.
The 23-year-old Kenyan international, who was recently released by Barnsley, marks the Bantams’ first acquisition of the summer transfer window.
Oduor joined Barnsley from Leeds United in 2019 and made 57 appearances for the Tykes. However, he spent the previous season on loan at Hartlepool, where he found the net once in 14 appearances.
Known for his versatility, Oduor can also excel as a winger or full-back. Notably, he scored the crucial goal against Brentford that ensured Barnsley’s Championship status in the 2019-20 campaign.
With a solitary cap for Kenya earned in a 2-1 friendly victory over Zambia in 2020, Oduor expressed his excitement about joining Bradford City. “This is a tremendous club with a passionate fanbase, and I am eagerly looking forward to getting started,” he stated. “My aim is to contribute to our climb up the leagues. With a three-year contract, I am determined to make the most of my time here and help the team progress.”
Bradford City has made a promising addition to their squad with the acquisition of Clarke Oduor, and fans eagerly anticipate witnessing his impact on the pitch in the upcoming season.
