Bungoma Queens’ Coach Confident Ahead of Showdown with Zetech Sparks

Robert Machio, head coach of Bungoma Queens, exudes confidence as his team gears up to face Zetech Sparks this Sunday at the Sang’alo Grounds in Bungoma County.

Machio expresses belief in his team’s readiness to take on Zetech, emphasizing their determination to clinch victory in the upcoming match.

Following a well-utilized break, Machio highlights the team’s recovery and preparation ahead of this crucial Premier League clash.

“We’re thrilled to return to the league after a month-long hiatus. This weekend presents a challenging encounter against Zetech Sparks, but we’ve put in the work. Our training sessions have been intensive, supplemented by valuable friendlies,” Machio remarks.

The coach underscores their primary objective of avoiding relegation, particularly after a sluggish start to the season.

“With two challenging away fixtures against Vihiga Queens and Ulinzi Stars looming, our focus is clear. However, our immediate priority is securing victories in the upcoming home matches against Wadadia and Zetech. If we can capitalize on these opportunities and secure points on the road, relegation will not be a concern,” Machio asserts.

Bungoma Queens currently occupy the 10th position on the league table with 12 points from 13 matches, while Zetech Sparks sit at sixth place with 15 points, also from 13 matches.
