Fenerbahce, the Turkish football giants, have officially announced the signing of Edin Dzeko, the Inter Milan striker.

Dzeko, who recently played in the Champions League final against Manchester City, has agreed to a two-year contract. He will receive a salary of 4.2 million euros per season.

Last season, Dzeko scored 14 goals for Inter, but as his contract expired, he decided to join Fenerbahce.

Previously, he played for Manchester City and Wolfsburg, winning league titles in both the Premier League and Bundesliga. With over 300 club goals, Dzeko is also the all-time leading goal scorer for Bosnia and Herzegovina, with 64 international goals in 129 games.

Fenerbahce, the runners-up in the Super Lig last season, last won the league title in 2014. Their recent victory in the Turkish Cup marked their first trophy in nine years.

Dzeko’s arrival will help fill the void left by Enner Valencia, who departed for Internacional in Brazil after finishing as the top scorer in the Super Lig with 29 goals.
