Joel Embiid showcased his exceptional skills once again, achieving a remarkable 13th consecutive game with at least 30 points and 10 rebounds.

Although falling just shy of a triple-double with 31 points, 10 rebounds, and nine assists, Embiid played a pivotal role in the Philadelphia 76ers’ 121-111 victory against the Toronto Raptors.

The Cameroonian center, closing in on Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s record of 16 games set in 1972, expressed his approach to the game, stating, “I didn’t force anything. I think I took two shots in the first six or seven minutes, but I just let the game come to me. It came to me, and then in the third quarter, I just found opportunities and made a few shots.”

The 76ers, fueled by impressive performances from Tyrese Maxey and Tobias Harris, who both scored 33 points, secured their eighth win in nine games.

In other NBA action, Stephen Curry shone for the Golden State Warriors, sinking a season-high eight three-pointers and contributing 30 points in their 129-118 victory over the Washington Wizards.

The reigning champions, the Denver Nuggets, clinched a hard-fought 122-117 win against the Brooklyn Nets, with Jamal Murray leading the charge with 32 points and Nikola Jokic adding 31.

Meanwhile, Domantas Sabonis delivered a stellar performance for the Sacramento Kings, recording his fourth triple-double of the season with 28 points, 12 assists, and 11 rebounds. Sabonis played a crucial role in the Kings’ convincing 120-105 win against the Phoenix Suns.
