Mbappe Voices Displeasure Over PSG’s Use of His Image in Ticket Sales Campaign
Kylian Mbappe, the star striker of Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), has expressed his dissatisfaction with the club’s use of video and images of him in their season-ticket advertising campaign.
Mbappe stated on Instagram that he was not informed about the content of the interview and did not agree with the published video, which was used to promote ticket sales for the upcoming season.
The France captain emphasized his fight for individual image rights, stating that PSG is not “Kylian Saint-Germain” despite being a big club and a big family.
Notably, Lionel Messi, who is reportedly set to leave PSG at the end of the season, was not featured in the promotional film.
Mbappe had previously called for individual image rights for players while representing France in international competitions. PSG did not provide any comments on Mbappe’s remarks when contacted.
