In a remarkable performance since their promotion to the FKF Premier League, Shabana FC delivered a resounding 4-1 victory against Sofapaka at the Raila Odinga Stadium in Homa Bay County.

Ezekiah Omuri, Brian Michira, Nthata, and Nehemiah Onchiri all found the target, while Sofapaka’s Austin Wahongo managed to pull one back for his team.

Coast-based side Bandari showcased their prowess at the Mbaraki Sports Club, securing maximum points with a 2-0 win over Murangá Seal. Ugandan strikers William Wadri and Umar Kasumba each contributed a goal, highlighting Bandari’s dominance.

Despite Bandari’s early control of the match, they were unable to convert multiple corner opportunities in the first five minutes. Murang’a Seal’s goalkeeper, Wilson Mwangi, displayed an outstanding performance in the first half with crucial saves to keep his team in contention.

In the 31st minute, a 30-yard shot from Robert Onyango deflected off the bar, leading to William Wadri entering the game as a substitute after Onyango sustained an injury. Bandari’s persistence paid off in stoppage time of the first half when Wadri headed in a cross from James Kinyanjui.

As the second half commenced, Bandari continued to press, nearly doubling their lead as Murang’a Seal’s captain, Robert Mudenyu, made a nervy clearance that almost resulted in an own goal. Murang’a Seal was unable to quell Bandari’s relentless attacks.

Meanwhile, in Nairobi, Kenya Police faced a 1-2 defeat against Kenya Commercial Bank Football Club, marking a contrasting fate in FKF Premier League action.
