Thika Golf Club anticipates a turnout of over 250 golfers for the ongoing NCBA golf series
Participants will vie for highly sought-after slots in the Grand Finale, scheduled for later this year. The Grand Finale will feature the overall gross winner, winners in the men’s and women’s categories, as well as the junior champion.
This tournament marks the fourth leg of the series, which kicked off in March and has attracted passionate golfers from across the region.
The third leg took place at the Windsor Golf Hotel and Country Club on April 22nd, with Abhishek Pandit emerging as the overall gross winner, posting a score of 79 gross.
Phillus Kimbo showcased exceptional skill, clinching victory in the women’s category with a score of 85 gross.
Ndegwa Thuku, the captain of Thika Sports Club, expressed his excitement for the upcoming event, stating, “With an estimated 250 golfers set to participate, we anticipate a highly competitive and memorable tournament. Thanks to the recent rains, our golf course is in excellent condition, and we expect the players to have a fantastic day on the course. We are delighted to once again host this series and extend a warm welcome to all the golfers joining us.”
