Bandari FC has parted ways with their Head Coach, Anthony Kimani, on mutual consent following the team’s elimination from the FKF Cup.
The announcement was made by CEO Edwin Oduor in a statement sent to newsrooms. The decision was arrived at by the Board of Trustees after thorough deliberations.
Kimani took over from Andre Casa Mbungo in February last year and served as caretaker manager until August 2022 when he was confirmed for the role.
Bandari’s Technical Director, Sheikh Twahir Muhiddin, has been appointed as the club’s interim head coach until the end of the season. Muhiddin’s first task as head coach will be a league match against KCB on Wednesday.
In the statement, Oduor expressed the club’s gratitude to Kimani for his service and dedication during his tenure as head coach.
The CEO also assured the club’s fans and stakeholders that the team remains committed to achieving its goals and aspirations. Bandari FC currently sits at position six on the Premier League table.
