The Gillies Turle trophy final on Saturday witnessed a fierce battle between SBM Bank’s team, featuring Archie Voorspuy (Handicap 3), Harry Millear (Handicap 3), Izzy Voorspuy (Handicap 3), and Izzy Stichbury (Handicap 1).
However, Tusker Malt emerged as the victors with a close 6-5 victory. Kenya’s highest-rated player, the 6-goal-rated Casimir Gross, showcased his prowess by scoring all 6 goals for Tusker Malt. Izzy and Archie Voorspuy contributed with a brace each, and Harry Millar added one goal to the scoreboard.
The Fat Hippo trophy final saw Primarosa facing off against 24:7, with Primarosa securing the win. Gregory Kimani netted a brace for Primarosa, while Hiromi Nzomo added one more goal to make it 3. Jamie Excell and Michelle Morgan scored for 24:7.
The highlight of the event occurred on Sunday when Team Kenya went head-to-head with Team Zambia. Team Kenya, comprising Jadini Nzomo (1), Ben Stonewigg (2), Joss Craig (2), and captain Archie Voorspuy (3), secured the victory.
