Australia made their biggest comeback in their Rugby World Cup history after overcoming a 9 point deficit to win (they trailed 21-12 after 46 minutes). The previous biggest deficit they had overcome was 8 points. They trailed Scotland by this in the quarter-finals of RWC 2015 before coming back to win 35-34.

  • Australia carried for 516 metres, 200 more than Fiji
  • Fiji missed 40 tackles in the 80 minutes
  • Australia had 72% possession
