Bandari FC Set to Unveil Nine New Signings in Bid for Maiden League Title
Bandari FC, the FKF Premier League team, is poised to unveil nine new signings as part of their strategy to bolster their squad for a shot at securing their first league title this season.
The club’s management has indicated that the announcement of these acquisitions will take place in the afternoon following a friendly match against Jomvu Combined at the Mbaraki Grounds base in Mombasa.
Among the notable names set to be revealed is former KCB and Harambee Stars goalkeeper Bryne Omondi, who departed the Bankers during the ongoing transfer window. The incoming players also include strikers Mohammed Barisa from Nzoia Sugar, Francis Kahiro from KCB, and Rashid Abdalla, the Super Cup’s Most Valuable Player, who has been training with the team since last December.
In addition to these signings, Bandari FC plans to promote some of their youth team players to address the gaps left by injured players in the squad led by John Baraza.
Currently occupying the fourth position in the league standings with 30 points from 18 matches, Bandari FC aims to narrow the gap with league leaders Gor Mahia, who are 10 points ahead. The unveiling follows the club’s strategic moves to strengthen its roster for a more competitive league campaign.
