Bandari Youth Routs Bahati FC, Secures Finals Spot Against Gunners FC in Chapa Dimba Coast Region
Bandari Youth, the favored home team, demonstrated their prowess by defeating Bahati FC from Taita Taveta 1-0 in the Safaricom Chapa Dimba Coast Region boys’ semifinal at Mbaraki Sports Club on Saturday.
Playing in front of their passionate fans, led by former Harambee Stars and Bandari FC Head Coach Twahir Muhidin, Bandari Youth asserted dominance throughout the match to secure the victory.
The team, guided by former Bandari FC player Shaban Kenga in the technical bench, displayed a commendable performance.
Bandari Youth is set to face Gunners FC from Tana River County in the final after Gunners secured a 4-2 victory on post-match penalties against King Royal, following a 1-1 draw in regulation time.
After the match, Gunners’ captain, Ismail ‘Ramos,’ expressed confidence, stating that they are not afraid of any team and are determined to be crowned Coastal Champions.
“We do not fear any team; in fact, we want to face Bandari Youth in the final. We are equal to the task as well,” Ismail affirmed.
