Barcelona Ladies SC, the reigning champions from Laikipia County, are poised to defend their Central region title after a commanding 4-0 win over Kartzville FC in the semi-finals at Wang’uru Stadium.

Under the guidance of Coach Emman Wafula Gullit, the team took an early lead with Calta Nasambu scoring in the 13th minute.

Floise Matendechere doubled the advantage shortly before the break, and Nasambu struck again early in the second half. Naomi Masinde’s goal in the 51st minute wrapped up the scoring, setting the stage for a final against St. Joseph from Murang’a, who edged out Kiwanja Queens in a penalty shootout following a 1-1 draw.

In the boys’ division, M-PESA Foundation Academy secured their final berth with a 2-0 victory over Kiaga Secondary, thanks to goals from Victor Mwongera and Emmanuel Mangera.

They will face Lysa FC, who triumphed over Karatina Homeboyz in penalties after a draw in regular time.

The victorious teams in both categories will be awarded Ksh. 250,000 and the honor of representing the Central region in the national finals scheduled for April.
