Basketball’s Future Stars Converge in Atlanta for the Prestigious 2024 NBA Academy Games

The NBA has unveiled plans for the 2024 NBA Academy Games, an elite basketball event showcasing top high-school prospects globally, scheduled for July 10-14 at Holy Innocents’ Episcopal School in Atlanta, Georgia.

This fifth installment will see eight teams compete: four from NBA academies in Australia, Mexico, and Senegal, a select international team, and three Nike EYBL teams—All Iowa Attack, Howard Pulley, and MOKAN Elite.

Participants can expect team practices, educational life-skills sessions, and 24 exhibition games leading to a tournament finale.

NBA staff, NCAA coaches, and scouts will have access to the event, coinciding with an NCAA recruitment window from July 11-14.

The NBA App will stream all games live, with highlights on NBA Future Starts Now. NBA partners Nike and Gatorade will provide gear and hydration.

The NBA Academy has a track record of success, with over 115 prospects earning NCAA Division I scholarships and 25 turning pro, including seven NBA players: Ibou Badji (Portland Trail Blazers), Ulrich Chomche (Toronto Raptors), Dyson Daniels (New Orleans Pelicans), Josh Giddey (Chicago Bulls), Johnny Furphy (Indiana Pacers), Olivier-Maxence Prosper (Dallas Mavericks), and Bennedict Mathurin (Indiana Pacers).
