Damian Lillard scored 34 points and Giannis Antetokounmpo added 31 as the Milwaukee Bucks snapped a six-game losing streak with a commanding 123-100 victory over the Utah Jazz on Thursday.
Lillard also contributed seven assists, while Bobby Portis came off the bench to add 19 points. Lillard and Antetokounmpo combined for 22 of the Bucks’ 31 points in the third quarter, helping Milwaukee build an 88-77 lead going into the fourth. They maintained at least an 11-point advantage throughout the final quarter to secure the win.
In another matchup, Anthony Edwards led the Minnesota Timberwolves with a game-high 33 points, along with eight rebounds and six assists, guiding his team to a 135-119 win over the Chicago Bulls. Julius Randle contributed 22 points and 10 rebounds as Minnesota erupted with 45 points in the fourth quarter, handing the Bulls their fourth consecutive loss.
Meanwhile, the San Antonio Spurs saw strong contributions from their bench, with Malaki Branham and Keldon Johnson each scoring 17 points in a 118-105 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers.
Eight Spurs players scored in double figures, including Zach Collins, Stephon Castle, and Julian Champagnie with 14 points each. Despite solid performances from Deandre Ayton and Jerami Grant, who both scored 21 points, Portland suffered its third loss in four games.
