CAF Unveils Nominees for Women’s Categories in CAF 2023 Awards

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has revealed the shortlists for the women’s categories in the Caf Awards 2023, recognizing outstanding achievements in African women’s football.

In the Player of the Year category, ten players are vying for the coveted individual honor. Meanwhile, other categories including Interclub Player of the Year, Goalkeeper of the Year, Young Player of the Year, Coach of the Year, National Team of the Year, and Club of the Year feature five nominees each.

The ultimate winners in each category will be determined through votes from a diverse panel consisting of the Caf Technical Committee, media professionals from Member Associations, head coaches, and captains of Member Associations, as well as clubs involved in the group stages of the Interclub competitions.

The highly anticipated Awards Gala is scheduled for December 11, 2023, at the Palais des Congrès, Movenpick, Marrakech, Morocco.
