Rising Starlets head coach Beldine Odemba has unveiled a 21-player squad for their upcoming second-leg match in the Fifa U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifier against Angola.

The game is scheduled for Saturday at the Junho stadium in Luanda, Angola, with the Kenyan Starlets enjoying a commanding 6-1 goal lead after securing victory on their home turf.

Valerie Nekesa was the standout performer, netting a remarkable hat-trick. Charity Midewa contributed with a brace, while Faith Naliaka also found the back of the net. With no injury concerns reported, it is highly unlikely that coach Odemba will make significant changes to her triumphant squad.

The overall outcome of this tie will be determined by the aggregate score, which will decide which team advances to face the winner of the second-round clash between Cameroon and Botswana in the third round. Cameroon currently holds the aggregate lead after a 2-0 victory at home in the first leg, with the return match set for Saturday.

Rising Starlets are aiming to make history by becoming the first Kenyan team to represent the nation in the Fifa World Cup.
