Kenya Ports Authority (KPA) head coach Anthony Ojukwu is calling for improvement from his team despite their recent victories in the Kenya National Basketball League.

The Dockers secured wins against Storms (74-40) and JKUAT Lynx (67-24), extending their unbeaten streak after the league resumed. Coach Ojukwu acknowledged the need for improved fitness levels but expressed satisfaction with the progress.

KPA has won all eight games played this season, positioning themselves second on the log with 16 points. Meanwhile, UON Dynamites coach Eugene Kalman attributed their 63-26 loss to Equity Hawks to inexperience and highlighted the need to work on mistakes.

Equity Hawks coach Benson Oluoch praised his team’s effective teamwork in the victory, moving them to fifth place on the log. The weekend’s results also saw Strathmore Blades edge Eldonets Platinum 55-53 in the women’s premier league.
