Stephen Curry, the NBA superstar known for his incredible shooting skills on the basketball court, showcased his golfing prowess on Saturday by making a hole-in-one during the second round of a celebrity golf tournament.

The Golden State Warriors’ guard, who is an avid golfer and has even participated in a developmental tour event in 2017, achieved the feat at the par-3 seventh hole at the American Century Championship in Stateline, Nevada.

Curry’s tee shot was nothing short of spectacular, as the ball took a single bounce and landed directly into the hole, eliciting cheers from the crowd. Overjoyed by his achievement, Curry ran towards the green, removing his cap and waving a triumphant “No. 1” finger into the air.

With both arms raised, he tossed his glove to the fans, leapt in the air, and smacked the flagstick with his left hand in celebration. Curry continued his exhilarating run around the entire green before finally falling back onto the ground under the shade of a tree, wearing an enormous smile on his face.

Reflecting on the momentous shot, Curry remarked, “That was 140 yards and not 94 feet,” comparing the length of the hole to that of an NBA basketball court.

He acknowledged that the remarkable achievement had left him breathless but in a good way. As someone who has been playing golf since the age of 10, Curry revealed that this hole-in-one was only the second of his career. He expressed his astonishment and joy, describing the experience as “unbelievable” and “wow.”

The hole-in-one boosted Curry’s score to 43 points in the three-day celebrity competition, solidifying his lead over US tennis player Mardy Fish. With his incredible talent and versatile athletic skills, Curry continues to impress both on the basketball court and the golf course, further establishing himself as one of the most exceptional athletes of his generation.
