Detroit’s last victory dates back to October 28, during their home opener against Chicago, leaving them with a 2-28 record for the season. This losing streak ranks as the second-longest in the combined history of NBA, NFL, NHL, and MLB. Cade Cunningham, the No. 1 overall pick in 2021, showcased an outstanding performance with 41 points, 9 rebounds, and 5 assists, but the team’s overall struggles persisted.

Cunningham, despite his impressive individual efforts, now holds the record for the longest streak to start an NBA career without a win when scoring 30 or more points, losing all 10 such games.
