FIFA has confirmed the submission of three bids to host the Women’s World Cup in 2027, spanning three different confederations.

A joint bid from Belgium, Netherlands, and Germany represents Europe, while Mexico and the United States submitted another joint bid. Brazil stands as the only country with a sole bid.

FIFA will initiate a comprehensive evaluation process, including on-site inspections starting in February 2024, with findings published in a bid evaluation report by May 2024. The final decision will be determined through an open vote at the FIFA Congress in Bangkok on May 17, 2024.

South Africa withdrew its bid for 2027, opting to prepare for a bid in 2031. The United States and Germany have previously hosted the Women’s World Cup in 1999, 2003, and 2011.

The most recent edition, held in 2023, was co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand, with Spain emerging as the champion by defeating England in the final.
