Gor Mahia and Tusker FC Keep FKF-PL Title Race Alive with Mid-Week Victories

Gor Mahia and Tusker FC continued their intense pursuit of the FKF Premier League title, with both teams securing hard-fought victories in their mid-week fixtures on Wednesday.

Gor Mahia battled back to claim a 2-1 win against FC Talanta, thanks to a second-half brace from Benson Omalla.

Meanwhile, Tusker FC edged KCB FC 1-0 in a tightly contested match at Ruaraka, with Michael Oduor scoring the decisive goal in the second half.

With the win, Tusker FC remained two points behind the leaders Gor Mahia, who have 59 points. Nzoia Sugar FC kept pace with Tusker FC, as they recorded a 3-2 come-from-behind victory against Posta Rangers to remain just three points behind on 54 points.

In other fixtures, Bidco United and AFC Leopards played to a 1-1 draw, while Nairobi City Stars held Kakamega Homeboyz to a scoreless draw. Ulinzi Stars added to Vihiga Bullets’ woes with a 3-1 triumph.
