Gor Mahia FC clinched their maiden victory in the FKF Premier League this season, triumphing 1-0 over Ulinzi Stars at the Ulinzi Sports Complex in Nairobi on Saturday.

Kevin Juma seized the decisive moment in the 29th minute, capitalizing on a goalkeeping error triggered by a corner kick.

The first half of the match unfolded cautiously, with both teams vying for dominance. Despite several promising opportunities in the initial 20 minutes, the home team failed to capitalize on chances to secure the lead.

As the second half progressed, Ulinzi Stars mounted a determined effort to level the score. However, Gor Mahia’s goalkeeper had a relatively uneventful time defending the goal, thwarting their attempts.

This crucial victory propels Kogalo to fifth place in the FKF Premier League standings with 4 points. In contrast, Ulinzi Stars find themselves at the bottom of the table, yet to secure a single point after two rounds of matches.
