In the opening matches of the 2026 FIFA World Cup Africa qualifier, the national football team Harambee Stars surrendered a 1-0 lead to fall 2-1 to Gabon in Franceville on Thursday evening.
Masoud Juma secured the lead for Kenya in the 40th minute heading into halftime in control. However, Denis Bouanga equalized for the hosts Gabon in the 60th minute, and Guelor Kanga sealed the win two minutes before full time.
