Jayson Tatum put on a dazzling performance, scoring 41 points to lead the Boston Celtics to a 118-110 victory over the Brooklyn Nets, further solidifying their position at the top of the NBA’s Eastern Conference.

Tatum also contributed 14 rebounds and five assists, showcasing his all-around skill set as the Celtics secured their fifth consecutive win, bringing their season record to an impressive 42-12.

Supporting Tatum’s stellar performance, Jaylen Brown added 19 points, while Al Horford and Derrick White each contributed 16 points. With this win, the Celtics now enjoy a comfortable six-game lead at the summit of the Eastern Conference standings.

Tatum’s dominance was evident from the outset, as he racked up 31 points in the first half alone, propelling the Celtics to a commanding lead. Although the Nets mounted a comeback effort in the fourth quarter, Boston’s early advantage proved insurmountable.

Meanwhile, the Oklahoma City Thunder secured a comfortable 127-113 win over the Orlando Magic, with Jalen Williams and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander leading the charge with impressive performances.

In the Western Conference, the Minnesota Timberwolves maintained their position at the top with a 121-109 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers, powered by Anthony Edwards’ 41-point explosion.

In a thrilling matchup, the Phoenix Suns emerged victorious against the Sacramento Kings with a score of 130-125, led by Kevin Durant’s 28-point effort.

Lastly, the Los Angeles Lakers cruised to a 125-111 win over the struggling Detroit Pistons, with LeBron James contributing 25 points for the hosts.
