Kajiado FC regained their winning momentum as they clinched a 2-1 victory against Machakos MCF FC in a Nation Super League match held on Sunday at Ildamat Stadium in Kajiado County.
The visitors managed to break the deadlock in the 32nd minute through a penalty kick converted by Eric Muchubu after Kajiado FC’s defender Elvis Shamala fouled the MCF FC striker in a dangerous spot.
However, their lead was short-lived as Abubakar Wangai equalized in the stoppage time before halftime after capitalizing on a rebound from MCF FC’s goalkeeper.
In the second half, Abubakar scored his second goal of the match in the 57th minute, breaking through a well-organized MCF defense and sending a powerful shot into the net to secure all three points for Kajiado FC at home.
This win comes on the heels of their previous victory against Darajani Gogo last Sunday in Nairobi. Kajiado FC will now face Murang’a Seal in their next match.
