Kenya Pipeline exhibited an impressive comeback on Saturday, rallying from a set down to defeat hosts Carthage with a thrilling 3-2 victory (18-25, 27-25, 25-23, 23-25, 15-9) in the Africa Clubs Championship.
With this triumph, Pipeline secures a spot in the tournament’s final, set to take place on Monday in Hammamat, where they will face Egypt’s Zamalek SC.
Pipeline, who clinched the bronze medal in the previous edition, now stands as the sole Kenyan club remaining in the championship.
Defending champions KCB, unfortunately, were eliminated in the quarterfinals on Friday.
