Kenya Police Bullets Triumph as FKF Women’s Premier League Champions

The Kenya Police Bullets have been crowned the champions of the 2023/24 FKF Women’s Premier League following a decisive 6-2 victory over Zetech Sparks.

The championship match was a showcase of the Bullets’ offensive prowess, with a remarkable five goals netted in just 21 minutes.

Team captain Juliet Andibo set the tone early with a 4th-minute goal, followed by a pair of goals from top scorer Rebecca Okwaro and a double from Lucy Kwekwe, wrapping up an explosive first half.

Lydia Akoth added to the tally in the second half, while Zetech Sparks’ Anna Arusi and Yvonne Kavere managed to narrow the margin with goals of their own.

The Kenya Police Bullets are set to face Bunyore Starlets at Mumboha Grounds on June 26, 2024, where they will be officially honored as champions.

In other league news, Vihiga Queens secured the second spot after a draw with Nakuru City Queens. Kibera Soccer Ladies emerged victorious against Bunyore Starlets, and Bungoma Queens clinched a win over Wadadia, further highlighting the competitive spirit of the league.
