Amos Serem, the former World U20 3000m steeplechase champion, delivered a silver-winning performance, finishing just behind an Ethiopian runner.

Simon Kiprop, who previously earned a bronze at the World U20 Championships, added to Kenya’s medal haul with a bronze of his own, completing the race in 8:26.19.

In a noteworthy display of emerging talent, Edmund Serem, the younger sibling of Amos, also made his mark by finishing sixth with a commendable time of 8:31.21.
