Staying true to their tournament form, the Kenyan team surged ahead right from the start, overpowering their opponents with a commanding score of 25-14 in the first set. However, with some resistance from the Nigerian side in the second set, Malkia Strikers maintained their superiority, clinching the set 25-17.
The third set was a one-sided affair, with the Kenyan athletes displaying their excellence as they secured a decisive 25-11 victory.
This triumphant performance propelled them into the semifinals and marked another significant stride towards their goal of participating in the Paris Olympics in 2024.
In another remarkable match of the day, Rwanda stunned spectators by achieving a surprising victory over Algeria with a score of 3-2.
This historic win allowed Rwanda to secure a spot in the semifinals for the first time in the history of the tournament.
