As the Monaco Grand Prix approaches, reigning world champion Max Verstappen anticipates a challenging race for his Red Bull team.

The circuit’s layout, characterized by its bumps and kerbs, has historically posed difficulties for Red Bull’s car setup. Despite improvements in low-speed performance on most tracks this season, Verstappen remains cautious about the upcoming weekend.

Lando Norris of McLaren has risen as a formidable contender, having secured his first Formula 1 victory in Miami and narrowly missing another win in Imola. Verstappen acknowledges that the competitive field has tightened, with Ferrari and McLaren showing strong performances.

Norris, currently 60 points behind Verstappen in the championship standings, remains hopeful for a positive outcome in Monaco. He emphasizes the importance of focusing on each race rather than the title chase, believing that consistent good results will naturally influence the championship battle.

With one-third of the season completed, Norris sees ample opportunities ahead for him and his team to make significant strides in the standings.

Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc, a Monaco native, has consistently demonstrated his prowess on the iconic street circuit, securing pole positions in previous years. He anticipates being a strong contender for the top qualifying spot once again, citing the unique challenges and risks associated with the track.

Lewis Hamilton of Mercedes and Fernando Alonso of Aston Martin also express optimism for their prospects at the Monaco Grand Prix, despite recent struggles.

Both drivers are looking to capitalize on the circuit’s demanding nature to achieve strong results. The anticipation builds as the teams prepare for one of the most prestigious and demanding races on the Formula 1 calendar.
