Nairobi East And West Teams  Set for Sakaja Super Cup Regional finals

The Sakaja Super Cup regional finals at the ASK Jamhuri showground on Sunday brought a mix of joyful cheers and bitter tears as teams battled for victory.

The conclusion of the regional show sets the stage for the grand finale at the Police Sacco Stadium on Tuesday, marking the end of the three-month tournament.

In the women’s final, Embakasi Central’s Club Jojo (Nairobi East) will face off against Westland’s Kibagare Girls (Nairobi West). The men’s final will see Githurai (Nairobi East) taking on Kawasaki Sports (Nairobi West).

Victor Madegwa’s decisive strike secured a victory for Kawasaki Sports over Kibagare Slums in the Nairobi West men’s final, while Githurai All Stars triumphed 2-0 over Victors Faith in the Nairobi East final.

The men’s winners will claim the top prize of Sh3 million, with runners-up receiving Sh2 million and bronze medallists taking home Sh1 million. In the women’s competition, the winners will earn Sh1 million, runners-up Sh500,000, and the third-placed team Sh250,000.

Additionally, the most decorated and organized fan bases will be rewarded with Sh300,000, Sh200,000, and Sh100,000 in order of merit.
