In a remarkable display of skill, Nikola Jokic achieved his season’s 25th triple-double, propelling the Denver Nuggets to a commanding 142-110 victory over the Atlanta Hawks, which catapulted them to the pinnacle of the Western Conference standings.

Jokic’s stellar performance included 19 points, 14 rebounds, and 11 assists. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope contributed significantly with a game-high 24 points. Jamal Murray made a notable return from injury, adding 16 points to the Nuggets’ tally.

Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Lakers continued their impressive streak, securing their ninth victory in the last ten matchups by defeating the Cleveland Cavaliers with a score of 116-97. D’Angelo Russell led the charge for the Lakers with a game-high 28 points.

LeBron James and Anthony Davis both achieved double-doubles, with James amassing 24 points and 12 assists, and Davis adding 22 points and 13 rebounds. The Lakers’ triumph was highlighted by an extraordinary 19-0 surge in the third quarter, elevating them to eighth place in the Western Conference.

In another game, Joel Embiid, last season’s NBA MVP, demonstrated his prowess by scoring 30 points, leading the Philadelphia 76ers to a 116-96 win over the Memphis Grizzlies.

Embiid, who has made a comeback from an extended injury, also secured 12 rebounds in just 23 minutes of play, showcasing his valuable contribution to the team’s success.
