Police Bullets Coach Habib Bullish Huge Win In FKF Cup Against Embu Queens

Assistant coach Hussein Habib of Kenya Police Bullets FC hailed their remarkable triumph against Embu Queens in a preliminary match of the women’s FKF Cup, emphasizing its significance in their pursuit of an inaugural championship.

Following their commanding 8-0 victory at the Embu Stadium, Habib spoke of the match’s role as valuable preparation for the upcoming league fixtures.

“This match has served as a strong foundation for our forthcoming league matches, where we aim to elevate our performance even further,” remarked the coach.

Mercy Masika showcased her prowess with a brace for the law enforcement team, supported by goals from Diana Wacera, Yasmin Khalid, Lucy Kwekwe, Mercy Njeri, Winnie Gwatenda, and Lydia Waganda.

Regarding the rotation of squad players, Habib highlighted the team’s philosophy of equality and the resultant healthy competition for starting positions.

“We believe in the abilities of all our players, fostering a competitive environment where everyone strives to excel,” he affirmed.

Bullets’ resounding victory propels them into the round of 16 of the FKF Women’s Cup, where they join Ulinzi Starlets, KISPED, and Nakuru City Queens.

At present, Bullets lead the league standings undefeated, amassing 31 points from 13 matches, placing them three points ahead of their primary rivals, Vihiga Queens.
