Football Kenya Federation (FKF) is set to conduct CAF ‘A’ License courses starting in October this year, as part of their efforts to enhance the skills and knowledge of coaches who have previously completed the CAF ‘B’ license level.
The comprehensive six-month course, consisting of 17 modules, will conclude on March 29, 2024. The training sessions will be held at the Kenya Institute of Special Education in Nairobi. Interested individuals must register before the October 6 deadline.
In accordance with the requirements set by the Confederation of African Football, a maximum of 25 participants will be selected for the course.
This selection process aims to ensure that the participants receive personalized attention and guidance throughout the training.
Recently, a group of 27 coaches began their CAF ‘C’ license training on April 17 in Kakamega. Notable participants in this training session include former Gor Mahia midfielder Francis Ocholla and Kakamega Homeboyz goalkeeper trainer John Waw.
The FKF’s initiative to organize these license courses demonstrates its commitment to the development of football coaching in Kenya.
By equipping coaches with advanced skills and qualifications, the federation aims to enhance the overall quality of football coaching in the country, which in turn will benefit players and the sport as a whole.
