After a tumultuous 1-0 defeat by Muhoroni Youth on Sunday, resulting in fan violence, Shabana FC has announced the appointment of Sammy Omolo as their new head coach.

The club, currently facing a challenging season with nine losses and three wins, hopes Omolo’s wealth of experience, including coaching roles at Tusker FC, Posta Rangers, and Kenya Police, will bring positive change.

In a statement, Shabana FC expressed confidence in Omolo’s leadership skills and ability to inspire players, aligning with the club’s vision. The team, currently 17th on the table with 14 points, welcomes Omolo as they aim to turn the season around.

The statement read, “With Mr. Omolo at the helm, we are poised to scale new heights of success and uphold the spirit of excellence that defines Shabana FC. Let us rally behind our new coach and continue to showcase the unwavering passion and dedication that sets our club apart.”

Omolo’s debut with Shabana FC will be at Sudi Stadium this weekend, where they face fellow strugglers Nzoia Sugar. The club encourages supporters, players, and staff to unite and offer full support to Omolo as he takes charge of Shabana FC.
