Shabana FC managed to secure a 1-1 draw against KCB in a recent Football Kenya Federation (FKF) match held at Raila Odinga Stadium in Homa Bay, under the guidance of interim coach Oscar Kambona.

Shabana took the lead early on when Brian Michira found the net, sparking jubilation among the home spectators.

However, the celebration was short-lived as the Bankers, KCB, equalized 24 minutes later through Francis Kahiro. In the second half, Shabana made a strategic substitution, bringing on Silas Shihemi for Brian Magare.

Despite both teams attempting to outshine each other, the game ultimately ended in a draw. As a result, KCB will maintain their position at number three with 23 points from 13 games.

Meanwhile, Shabana, who has been struggling, moves to the 14th position with 11 points, having played one more game.

In other matches played on the same day, Ulinzi Stars secured a decisive 3-0 victory against Talanta, while league leaders Posta Rangers suffered a 1-0 defeat to City Stars.
