Pascal Siakam’s standout performance, scoring 25 points, propelled the Indiana Pacers to a decisive 116-103 victory over the New York Knicks, setting the stage for a thrilling series finale in the NBA Eastern Conference semi-finals.

Myles Turner made a significant impact with 17 points and eight rebounds, while the collective efforts of Tyrese Haliburton, Andrew Nembhard, and TJ McConnell, each adding 15 points, were instrumental in the Pacers’ win at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

The Pacers, seeded sixth, have now leveled the series at 3-3, with each game thus far being won by the home team.

The series is poised for an epic conclusion with game seven scheduled for Sunday in New York. Haliburton expressed the team’s anticipation, stating, “It’s a one-game series now. It’s for all the marbles. There’s no better place for a game seven than Madison Square Garden. We’ve got to be ready.”

For the Knicks, Jalen Brunson led the scoring with 31 points, 26 of which came in a vigorous second-half performance. Supporting him were Miles McBride with 20 points, Donte DiVincenzo with 17, and Precious Achiuwa who contributed 12 points and eight rebounds.

The Pacers established a lead of 61-51 by halftime and widened the gap with a 10-2 run early in the second half. Coach Rick Carlisle emphasized the team’s enhanced effort, ball movement, and rebounding as key factors in their success. He also noted the importance of maintaining focus, saying, “In a series like this, you can’t afford to rest on your laurels. We’re keeping our celebrations brief and turning our attention to Sunday.”

The victors of this closely contested series will advance to face the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference finals, a best-of-seven series commencing on Wednesday. The ultimate goal remains in sight: a coveted spot in the NBA Finals, set to begin on June 6.
