Football Kenya Federation Premier League team Sofapaka has announced the appointment of former Harambee Stars head coach Zedekiah ‘Zico’ Otieno as their new head coach.
The move is part of Sofapaka’s strategy to strengthen both their squad and technical bench. Zedekiah Otieno, a CAF coaching instructor, will be joined by Ezekiel Akwana as his deputy.
The official unveiling of the new coaching team is scheduled for Sunday when Sofapaka hosts Bidco United.
Currently, Sofapaka is positioned 17th in the 18-team league table, with 14 points from 16 matches, just one point above the bottom-placed Nzoia.
