Reigning Los Angeles marathon champion Stacy Ndiwa and former Africa Cross Country bronze medalist Charles Mneira showcased their exceptional talent as they emerged victorious in the second edition of the Iten 15km Road race held in Elgeyo Marakwet County, Iten.

In a fiercely competitive women’s race, Ndiwa, a former Commonwealth Games 10,000m silver medalist, demonstrated her strength and determination, crossing the finish line in 51:13.9.

She expressed her satisfaction with the win and revealed her upcoming participation in the Boston 10km race next month in the USA as part of her endurance training.

Reline, who recently served as a pacemaker at the London Marathon, acknowledged that she had not trained adequately for the event but expressed contentment with her performance and vowed to work harder in future races.
