Max Verstappen, the three-time world champion, affirmed on Thursday his commitment to Red Bull Racing, expressing contentment despite recent off-track turbulence.

Verstappen, who is under contract with Red Bull until 2028, previously hinted at potential departure if there were changes within the team’s leadership, particularly involving his mentor Helmut Marko.

The recent upheavals included allegations against team boss Christian Horner, which were later disproven, leading to Verstappen’s reassurance about honoring his contract.

Speaking at the Australian Grand Prix, Verstappen emphasized his loyalty to Red Bull, highlighting the team’s familial atmosphere and his comfort within it. While acknowledging the importance of maintaining a successful team structure, Verstappen hinted at future uncertainties beyond his current contract.
His comments caught the attention of Mercedes’ Toto Wolff, who is seeking a replacement for Lewis Hamilton next season.

Verstappen’s dominant performance in the season’s first two races underscores Red Bull’s strength, with teammate Sergio Perez echoing hopes for his continued presence within the team.
Perez emphasized the cohesion within Red Bull Racing and the team’s success over the years, signaling potential setbacks if Verstappen were to depart.
