Vivo Energy Kenya Champions Female Participation in WRC Safari Rally

Vivo Energy Kenya, a prominent Oil and Marketing Company, celebrated the achievements of female participants in the WRC Safari Rally on April 10, 2024.

The commendable team included Pauline Sheghu with navigator Linet Ayuko, and the mother-daughter pair, Caroline and Tinashe Gatimu.

Mark Senteu, the Head of Marketing at Vivo Energy Kenya, praised the teams for their hard work and determination, reflecting the company’s values. “We are proud to support these talented individuals and look forward to their continued success in motorsport,” Senteu remarked.

Tinashe Gatimu, guided by her mother, secured the 7th position, while Pauline Sheghu, with Linet Ayuko, finished 8th overall, piloting a Subaru Impreza Sti 10. Tinashe expressed gratitude for Vivo Energy Kenya’s support, which fuels her ambition to achieve greater heights in the KNRC and ARC.

Caroline Gatimu shared her joy over her daughter’s accomplishments, anticipating future triumphs. Linet Ayuko also shared a memorable moment of President Ruto’s encouraging reception at the rally’s end.

Pauline Sheghu, a seasoned communicator, aspires to leave a lasting mark in motorsport, driven by the support of Vivo Energy Kenya and the performance-enhancing Shell V-Power and A.V. Gas.

The company reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the motorsport endeavors of its young team, which includes Neel Gohil, Wayne Fernandes, Fahim Abdul, and the Gatimus, in upcoming Autocross and KNRC events.
