Ulinzi Warriors and Strathmore University Swords have both qualified for the Kenya Basketball Federation Premier League play-offs semi-finals on Sunday.
Ulinzi Warriors, aiming for their ninth title, eliminated Eldonets Platinum 2-0 with a 63-48 win in Game Two. The team, who came second in the regular season with 40 points, will meet Equity Dumas in Game One of the semi-finals on May 12.
Meanwhile, Strathmore University Swords beat Storms 2-0 with a 49-40 win in Game Two and will face champions Kenya Ports Authority in the semi-final on May 13.
In the women’s Premier League quarter-final, Zetech Sparks demolished Africa Nazarene University Panthers 85-31, with Medina Okot scoring 18 points, Kiyobe Chantal hitting 13, and Agneta Kambua adding 12. Zetech Sparks lead the series 1-0.
In men’s Division Two quarter-final action, National Bank defeated Congo Nets 75-46 in Game Three.
