Cameroon and Namibia have secured their places in the 2024 Africa Cup of Nations, completing the roster of 24 qualified teams for the tournament to be held in Ivory Coast.
Cameroon triumphed over Burundi with a 3-0 win in their final qualifier match, topping Group C with seven points. Namibia secured the second spot in the group with five points, edging out Burundi.
This development finalizes the list of qualified teams for the tournament, which is set to kick off in Abidjan on January 13, 2024. The tournament will feature a strong field of 12 former African champions, including the defending champions Senegal, as well as Ghana, Nigeria, and the hosts, Ivory Coast.
