Trossard’s and Rice’s subsequent goals relieved the tension and secured the win, marking Arsenal’s fourth consecutive victory.
Bournemouth’s Second-Half Performance Reflects Seasonal Growth
Despite being outplayed in the first half, Bournemouth’s season has been their best yet in the Premier League, with a record 48 points. Their only first-half attempt came from Dango Ouattara in the initial moments.
Arsenal’s defense kept Solanke, an 18-goal striker, in check, and he missed a key opportunity caused by a misstep from Gabriel, which Saliba quickly covered. Bournemouth’s manager, Andoni Iraola, will be encouraged by the team’s second-half improvement, despite the disallowed goal by Semenyo following a VAR review.
Bournemouth’s hopes for a top-half finish remain intact, but they fell short of adding points in this encounter.
