Kenya is set to host the inaugural Kenya Phygital Cup on January 25, 2025, at the Uhuru Sports Complex in Nairobi, marking a transformative moment in the world of sports.
This innovative event will see 32 teams compete for a chance to represent Kenya at the prestigious Games of the Future 2025 in Dubai, UAE.

Phygital football will involve 5v5 soccer matches followed by PlayStation 5 simulations, while phygital basketball will pair 2v2 basketball games with their digital equivalents.
